The Cure and Ipsy

As most of us do, I spend A LOT of time on Pinterest. You're lying to yourself if you say you don't...any how, I kept seeing the ad for tipsy and it finally caught my attention.  I have been neglecting myself on some self love the past year, being focused on handling a free spirited toddler, running my jewelry business, making my jewelry, and home projects here and there. Also, given the fact that I am a mom and I rarely leave the house with my makeup on or hair done, it seemed like time for a change.

If you haven't looked into ipsy, it is a monthly subscription for beauty products for only $10/month. You fill out a style profile, like most subscription boxes, and they send you a Glam Bag according to what you put down. I received my June Glam Bag and was really excited to try everything! Unfortunately the first chance I got to actually sit down and use everything was June 24 (even though I received it June 5) for The Cure concert! Everything in this bag was PERFECT for The Cure.

What I Received:

  • Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Fireball or Lounge
  • Vasanti Cosmetics Kajal Eyeliner in Black
  • JulieG Nail Color in Tropical Matte
  • Crown Brush 3 Tone Bronzer
  • derma e Purifying Daily Detox Scrub

The Urban Decay eyeshadow changed colors from where you were looking at it. My 5th grade, body glitter-loving self was pumped to try this out. It went on easily and was great for a dramatic concert look. The Vasanti Kajal eyeliner....perfection. Eyeliner is about the only thing I wear consistently because I have giant eyeballs and I need to reel these babies back down to Earth. It was super smooth to put on and lasted through me sweating profusely in 95 degree weather in the hot sun. The Crown 3 Tone Bronzer was extremely easy to use and it looked fantastic! Now for my favorite part of the Glam Bag....the derma e Purifying Daily Detox Scrub. It left my face feeling so fresh, light, and like it had just had a little cooling bath (there is tea tree oil in it). I'm obsessed and will definitely be ordering a bottle for my everyday use.

Oh, and the concert? AMAZING. Robert Smith, props to you for still sounding amazing after all of these years!
